Are you ready for it? The festival by the bay with the absolutely amazing view of San Francisco skyline.
Treasure Island Music Festival is back for its fifth year. From Octorber 15-16 festival goers can enjoy the sounds of the Death Cab for Cutie, Empire of the Sun, Cut Copy, Death from Above 1979 and much more.
Like previous Treasure Island festivals where one day was more dance heavy than the other, the first day will be headlined by Empire of the Sun, Cut Copy, Death From Above 1979, Flying Lotus, Battles, Chromeo, Dizzee Rascal, Shabazz Palaces, YACHT, Buraka Som Sistema, the Naked and Famous, Aloe Blacc, and Geographer.
The second day will have a different vibe with Death Cab for Cutie headlining along with Explosions in the Sky, Beach House, the Hold Steady, Stephen Malkmus and the Jicks, St. Vincent, the Antlers, Wild Beasts, Warpaint, Thee Oh Sees, Weekend, Friendly Fires, and the Head and the Heart will all play.
The surprising artist on the bill is The Weeknd. The Indie/R&B one man hype machine from Toronto just played his first show this pass weekend and it’s great to see he’s spreading he wings and playing shows in the states.
Early bird, advance, 2-Day GA and VIP tickets on sale Wed at 10am PST
