Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaur’s new track, Tapes & Money, was premiered yesterday on Annie Mac’s BBC Radio 1 DJ set. TEED has been doing a lot more tracks with his vocals lately, as he’s described the wonders of dance music as giving even the most simple, naive lyrics a “ridiculously profound meaning.” He’s completely right, too. His gigs are so high-powered that you’re willing to give in and just take his lavish headdresses and his lyrics and embrace them as some sort of overwhelmingly deep existentialist metaphor, or something.
